The latest news on the anthology (in which my story, A Fistful of Earth will appear) is it now has a cover and a name. Even more exciting, the forward will be by Anna Funder (Anna completed her Doctorate of Creative Arts at UTS and her work, All That I Am, went on to win the Miles Franklin).

I have finally made good on a long-held wish to create a reading group for people in a nursing home. On New Year's Eve I sent out queries to facilities in my area, describing what I had in mind. By 4pm I had a very enthusiastic response from Glengarry in Mosman.

One of the perks of studying for the Masters of Creative Writing at the University of Technology, Sydney, is the right to submit work for the annual anthology.
